Procurement

The University of Ghana Medical Centre LTD (UGMC), in line with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 663 (2003) as amended, requires that interested eligible candidates participate in a tender process that would lead to the selection of vendors interested in supplying various consumable and non-consumable items to the Centre at specified periods that will be advertised.

Details

Interested eligible candidates may obtain the different categories of tender documents (in English) upon payment of the following non-refundable fees at our accounts office located on the first floor of the UGMC administration block. A copy of the receipt should be attached to the bid documents.

The completed documents are to be enclosed in plain sealed envelopes labelled with the tender reference number and the tender name and should be deposited inside the tender box placed in front of the Procurement Office at UGMC within the specified advertised period.

Bidders shall bear all costs associated with the delivery of tender documents and UGMC will not be responsible or liable for these costs regardless of the outcome of the tendering process. Tenders will be opened at the specified date on the tender documents in the presence of tenderers or their representatives who choose to attend the opening session by the Tender Board.

Eligible candidates may obtain further information on the tender documents from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Office of the Head of Procurement, First floor of the Administration block, UGMC, University of Ghana, Legon near the Noguchi Memorial Institute of Research, Ghana Post GPS: GA-337-6980, Tel: 0302 550843-5 or send an email to procurement@ugmc.ug.edu.gh

CANCELLATION OF TENDERING PROCESS: RESIDENTIAL ACCOMMODATION FOR UGMC STAFF

We write in reference to the above-mentioned Expression of Interest (EOI) published in the National Daily Graphic dated 21st November 2022, and your proposal submitted in response to the EOI.
In view of the significant changes in scope, we regret to inform you of the cancellation of the procurement process for the development of residential accommodation for staff under the Public-Private Partnership arrangement in line with Section 28A (2)(e)(10) of the Public Procurement Act 2003 (Act 663).
Your proposal will be returned unopened. Please collect it at the Procurement General Office, OPD Admin Block between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday to Friday.
