The mission of the Internal Audit Directorate (IAD) is to provide independent, objective assurance and consulting services designed to add value and improve the Centre’s operations. Internal Audit enhances and protects the Centre’s value by providing risk-based and objective assurance, advice, and insight. The IAD helps the Centre to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of governance, risk management, and control processes. It further assists UGMC Management and the Audit Committee of the Board in identifying, avoiding, and mitigating risks.
Additionally, the Directorate provides valuable support in maintaining the public’s confidence by performing independent and objective reviews. The Directorate also reports to the Audit Committee and to relevant Administrative and Clinical Officers on their findings so that corrective actions or enhancements can be initiated and implemented.
Working Hours:
8am - 4pm (Monday -Friday)
