BackThe Sonography Unit at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) provides high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services using advanced imaging technology to support accurate diagnosis, treatment planning, and patient care. Our services are available to outpatients, inpatients, emergency cases, and specialist clinics.

Our Role in Patient Care

Accessing Our Services
Sonography services are available through referrals from UGMC clinics, departments, and external healthcare facilities. Appointments can be scheduled through the hospital booking system or at the Radiology Department Front Desk.
