The Centre collaborated with Penn State Health (USA) from August 30 to September 6, 2024, to host the Otolaryngology Boot Camp, which empowered over 50 ENT surgeons and residents with essential skills for effective clinical management and professional development.
Loosely based on the concept of military boot camps, participants actively engaged in various exercises and simulations designed to build competence in key psychomotor, cognitive, and affective domains. The programme enhanced surgical skills and fostered collaboration among healthcare professionals from leading hospitals such as UGMC, Korle Bu, and the Greater Accra Regional Hospital.
