Respiratory Therapy Clinic

The Respiratory Therapy Clinic at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) provides specialized respiratory care for patients experiencing acute and chronic breathing disorders. Our respiratory therapists work collaboratively with physicians, pulmonologists, intensivists, anaesthetists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive respiratory assessment, treatment, and education across inpatient and outpatient settings.

The clinic supports patients with a wide range of respiratory conditions by providing evidence-based therapies that improve breathing, enhance lung function, prevent complications, and promote overall respiratory health.

Our team is experienced in managing patients requiring oxygen therapy, airway clearance, pulmonary rehabilitation, ventilator support, and respiratory monitoring.
