OVERVIEW OF DEPARTMENT
The Assisted Reproductive Technology (ART) Department at the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC) provides specialized fertility care services for individuals and couples experiencing challenges with conception. The department offers comprehensive fertility evaluation, diagnosis, counselling, and advanced reproductive treatment options using modern assisted reproductive techniques and evidence-based practices.
The department is committed to providing compassionate, confidential, and patient-centred reproductive healthcare through a multidisciplinary team of fertility specialists, embryologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. With access to advanced reproductive technologies and laboratory support, the ART Department provides personalized treatment plans aimed at improving fertility outcomes while ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and ethical care.
