Radiologist 
Dr. Kwabena Appiah Bawuah is a Radiologist with over 12 years of clinical experience, including specialist training and practice in diagnostic radiology. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) School of Medical Sciences and is a Member of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (MGCP), Faculty of Radiology. 

Education 

Work Experience 

Dr. Bawuah currently serves as a Radiologist at the University of Ghana Medical Centre Ltd. (UGMC), a position he assumed in 2024. In this role, he provides comprehensive diagnostic imaging services and contributes to multidisciplinary patient care through accurate image interpretation and clinical collaboration. 

Before joining UGMC, he served as Head of the Diagnostic Department at HopeXchange Medical Centre, where he provided clinical leadership and oversaw the development, management, and delivery of diagnostic imaging services. 

Professional and Research Interests 

Dr. Bawuah's professional and research interests are centred on Neuroradiology, with a strong passion for advancing the imaging diagnosis of neurological diseases through high-quality cross-sectional imaging, evidence-based practice, and continuous professional development. He is committed to delivering accurate, timely, and patient-centred diagnostic services while contributing to the advancement of radiological practice in Ghana.
