Dr. Rosemond Effah is a proficient and detail-oriented pharmacist with over nine years’ experience in providing pharmaceutical care. She has expertise in medication therapy management and improving health outcomes through quality pharmacy practice. She is a member of the Ghana College of Pharmacists specializing in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She is committed to promoting rational use of medicine, managing pharmacy operations efficiently, and upholding professional standards of Practice.
Education
Dr. Effah holds a Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Ghana and a Master’s degree in Public Health from the same University. She is a member of the Ghana College of Pharmacists and earned her Bachelor of Pharmacy Degree from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
Work Experience
Dr. Effah has more than 9 years of work experience in the practice of Pharmacy. She has worked in community and hospital practice and has research interests in reproductive health, Pharmacy practice, and complementary and alternative medicine. She was the head of the Surgery Pharmacy at the University of Ghana Medical Center from 2024 to 2025, contributing to the management of the pharmacy unit, clinical education, and mentorship.
