Mrs. Josephine Dogbevi is a Deputy Director of Nursing Services with over 25 years of experience in nursing practice, including more than 21 years of specialised experience in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) nursing and ward management. She has extensive expertise in specialised ENT nursing care, clinical leadership, patient care coordination, and the delivery of patient-centred healthcare services. 

She is committed to promoting excellence in nursing practice through effective clinical leadership, evidence-based care, infection prevention and control, staff development, and multidisciplinary collaboration. Her work focuses on improving the quality and safety of specialised nursing services while ensuring compassionate and holistic care for patients.

Mrs. Dogbevi has over 25 years of professional nursing experience, with more than two decades dedicated to ENT nursing and specialised ward management. As a Deputy Director of Nursing Services, she provides leadership in coordinating specialised nursing activities, supervising nursing teams, managing clinical operations, and ensuring the delivery of safe and quality patient care. 

Her experience includes overseeing ENT nursing services, implementing infection prevention and control measures, supporting multidisciplinary healthcare teams, mentoring junior nurses, educating patients and caregivers, and promoting evidence-based nursing practices. 

Through her leadership and clinical expertise, Mrs. Dogbevi continues to contribute to the advancement of specialised nursing care and the improvement of healthcare delivery standards. 

Mrs. Dogbevi’s professional and research interests include ENT nursing practice, clinical leadership, evidence-based nursing practice, implementation of clinical guidelines, infection prevention and control, nursing education, and patient-centred care. 

She also has a growing interest in caregiver and maternal experiences in the management of ENT-related conditions, particularly within the Ghanaian healthcare context. 

Mrs. Dogbevi possesses expertise in specialised ENT nursing care, nursing leadership and administration, clinical supervision, patient care coordination, infection prevention and control, patient advocacy and counselling, staff mentorship and training, clinical decision-making, problem-solving, and multidisciplinary collaboration. 

She demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with a commitment to strengthening nursing services through effective clinical management, continuous professional development, evidence-based practice, and the delivery of safe, compassionate, and patient-centred care. 

Mrs. Josephine Dogbevi holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Clinical Leadership and Management, a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Nursing, an Advanced Diploma in Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Nursing, and a State Registered Nursing qualification. 

Mrs. Dogbevi is fluent in English, Twi and Fanti. She has some knowledge of Ewe and good knowledge of Ga.
