The University of Ghana Medical Centre LTD, as part of its obligation to improve upon patient satisfaction and streamline patient flow through various specialty clinics, seeks to engage the services of a virtual patient and queue management provided under the contract name: DEVELOPMENT OF PATIENT VISIT AND QUEUE MANAGEMENT (PVM) SYSTEM. The provider must propose a Patient Visit Management (PVM) system that has a very strong reporting tool to improve performance and efficiency levels at the various OPD floors. 

The proposed PVM system should focus on patient visit management such that it will reduce or eliminate queues and provide other added benefits for patients, staff and management. Eg; notify customers with specific queuing information, and send or receive customer messages/ feedback before, during and after accessing medical services at the Centre. 


 
BRIEF FOR UGMC PATIENT VISIT AND QUEUE MANAGEMENT (PVM) SYSTEM
 The PVM system should provide the following services: 

• Queuing and Routing system for both walk-in clients and clients with appointments 

• Manage communication between the various touch points 

• Link payment to patient’s accounts • Digital signages
• Strong reporting tools
• Data mining capabilities 

• Patient feedback panel
• Mobile and web booking for appointments
• Alerts via SMS, E-mail, and other free & secure 

messaging apps
• QR coding for customer identification • Related software and supporting tools • Staff Training
• Service Level Maintenance 

The University of Ghana Medical Centre LTD now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested consultant(s) must provide information indicating their qualifications (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). Service Providers may associate to enhance their qualifications (if necessary).

A service provider will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the Public Procurement Act, 2003 (Act 663), as amended (Act 914), of the Republic of Ghana and shall meet the following criteria: 

a) Certificate of Registration of Firm b) Valid Tax Clearance Certificate c) V A T Certificate
 d) V valid SSNIT Certificate 

e) Evidence of registration with the Public Procurement Authority 

f) Relevant Experience of Firm
 g) Availability and Experience of relevant staff h) Any other requirements as necessary
