Obstetrics unit (UGMC Mum and Baby Unit)
The birth of your baby will forever remain one of the most memorable events of your lifetime. Even though most pregnancies actually proceed smoothly, our dedicated obstetricians are always available to take care of you during your pregnancy (antenatal), childbirth (delivery) and after birth (postpartum period) to assure a safe delivery for both mother and baby. Our obstetricians will monitor your health as well as that of your baby, including prenatal diagnostic care and advanced imaging services during your pregnancy.  Our experts will also check for health conditions that can cause problems during your pregnancy or affect your babies' health, such as high blood pressure, diabetes, infections, and genetic disorders. They  will also advise   you  about your diet, exercise, medications, and how to stay healthy during your pregnancy. Our obstetricians  will  again help you  to cope with morning sickness, back and leg pain, heartburn, and other common pregnancy complaints and further explain what will happen during labor and delivery to you -thereby demystifying the entire pregnancy experience to you and your loved ones.

Antenatal Care unit
Our antenatal care unit is focused on screening you for various complications that may arise during your pregnancy. This include routine visits for physical exams and routine but critical laboratory checks.

Postnatal care unit
Postnatal care offers our Obstetricians the opportunity to check the general condition of the patient after delivery as well as check the dressing and healing of the woman  if  a caesarean- section (surgery)   was performed. Post-natal care also affords our obstetricians the opportunity to follow up with the newly born babies (neonates) to verify whether they are healthy or not. You will also receive breast-feeding support from experienced midwives or lactation consultants if necessary. The unit also offers Immunization and Family Planning Services.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
This Unit provides critical care for very ill or premature newly born babies. The Centre has incubators and ventilators readily available to provide such services when the need arises. Our pediatricians, nurses, medical officers, pharmacist and dietitians work together to ensure that our NICU is running in tip-top condition.

Paediatric unit
The  Paediatric unit attends to the medical needs of minors usually under eighteen (18). Currently our Paediatric clinic operates from the main OPD and we offer consultation to newborns, toddlers, preschoolers,  school age children and adolescents. We have expertise in the management of a myriad of diseases that occur in persons within the above age groups.  After thorough assessment, a referral  is given to seek further care with other specialties when necessary. The Unit boasts of a wall fenced recreational grounds to enhance and speed recuperation of sick children.
