Visit of students from UNIVERSITÉ D'ABOMEY- Benin
About sixty (60) students from the department of Imaging and Radiobiology Department from the Université D'Abomey-Calavi (Ecole Polytechnique D’Abomey-Calavi) in Benin, paid a visit to the University of Ghana Medical Centre Limited on the 11th of September 2019. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the facilities and services of the centre.
VISIT OF STUDENTS FROM UNIVERSITÉ D'ABOMEY-BENIN
About sixty (60) students from the Department of Imaging and Radiobiology from the Université D'Abomey-Calavi (Ecole Polytechnique D’Abomey-Calavi) in Benin, paid a visit to the University of Ghana Medical Centre Limited on the 11th of September 2019. The purpose of the visit was to familiarize themselves with the facilities and services of the centre.
The students were received by the management of UGMC.
The Head of Customer Relations/ Public Relations of the centre, Ms Barbara Owusu-Hemeng welcomed the students gave them a brief overview of the mission and vision of the centre. They were taken on a tour by the staff of the Biomedical Engineering and Customer Relations department of the centre.
The CEO of UGMC, Dr Darius Osei advised the students to take the opportunity to learn all they could pertain to their field of study.
The Head of the Radiology Department, Mr. George Nunoo and his team took the students round the Imaging and Diagnostic department of the centre.
The leader of the team Mr. Thierry Mehou Gamaliel indicated that they chose to visit the centre because it had been identified as one of the most prestigious medical centres in West Africa.
