It is magnificently nestled on the southernmost tip of the University of Ghana, the Country’s premier university located in Legon, Accra and about ten minutes away from the Kotoka International Airport. Governance

The UGMC is currently jointly owned by the Government of Ghana and the University of Ghana. It is currently governed by an Interim Management Committee which consists of representatives from the Centre, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, University of Ghana, Christian Health Association of Ghana and the Private Sector. The Committee reviews and approves the operational policies of the Centre which are then implemented by the management team which is headed by the Chief Executive Officer.
